Alzheimer's Association of Florida Hosted Virtual Town Hall Detailing Research Progress

Guest speakers discussed the federal Equity in Neuroscience and Alzheimers clinical trials and the Comprehensive Care for Alzheimer's Act.

On Monday, April 25, the Alzheimer's Association of Florida hosted a virtual event featuring guest speakers Jennifer Pollack, Alzheimer's Association Access Policy Director; Michelle Branham of Florida Department of Elder Affairs; and Rep. Vern Buchanan.

The town hall meeting discussed the Equity in Neuroscience and Alzheimer's Clinical Trial Act. The Comprehensive Care for Alzheimer's Act will also help improve the lives of those impacted by Alzheimer's in Florida and the more than 6.2 million Americans living with the disease nationwide.
