As an executive with the Gecko’s Hospitality Group, the parent company of a locally owned independent family of restaurants, Anne Rollings wears many hats. With a diverse professional background—with Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting; city attorney of Park City, Utah; Southeastern region business development associate for a global urban design and planning firm; and back home to Sarasota with GHG—Rollings cites a common thread: the building of relationships.

With over 650 employees, the GHG’s business philosophy always begins and ends with the Hospitality quotient; creating uplifting experiences for guests, the people working alongside each other every day, and within our community. In addition to business development, public relations and government relations, Rollings manages the GHG Charitable Giving program, which supports veterans and military groups, law enforcement and dozens of schools in Sarasota and Manatee counties, in addition to over 1,500 not-for-profits and philanthropic endeavors.

Since 1992, GHG has created thousands of first-time jobs, shaped the careers of a cadre of hospitality professionals and is consistently awarded “Best Of” in numerous categories. Gecko’s Grill & Pubs form the company’s cornerstone, and with the acquisition of Dry Dock Waterfront Grill on Longboat Key and Dockside Waterfront Grill in Venice, the Better Burger concept, Smacks Burgers & Shakes, Red Barn Bar and Signature Events & Catering, 11 business entities complete the family.

Gecko’s Hospitality Group was awarded the prestigious National Restaurant Association’s Florida Restaurant Neighbor and Florida Cornerstone Humanitarian award for five consecutive years before being named as the National Restaurant Neighbor in 2017.
