Something Fresh (and French!) Has Come to St. Armands Circle

Karma Luna Salon, Boutique & Spa celebrates its grand opening this week after its business in St. Martin was destroyed by Hurricane Irma in 2017.

Presented by Karma Luna December 3, 2019

Everyone loves a comeback story, especially when it brings two new fashion-forward business professionals to Sarasota. Valerie and Rudolphe Camus, owners of the new Karma Luna Salon, Boutique & Spa, met 20 years ago at a fashion show, where Valerie was a runway model and Rudolphe was doing hair backstage. From that moment, they were inseparable, having operated businesses in France, the Caribbean and Asia. Their latest venture in St. Martin was completely demolished when Hurricane Irma hit—but instead of seeing a ruined dream, they decided to realize a life-long goal of living in the United States and bringing their exclusive French touch with them.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in the fashion and beauty industry, they are proudly celebrating a new beginning and grand opening this week at 369 St. Armands Circle, on the second level of what used to be Green Ginger. In addition to offering all hair styling and spa favorites, Karma Luna carries its own line of ready-to-wear beachwear and luxury clothing made in Paris, France. The Karma Luna collection was developed in 2014 and consists of designer leather goods and accessories responsibly made from python and anaconda skins. You can check out their line here.

Cue the Champagne pop! The grand opening will take place all day Friday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
