Venice's J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. last month completed a 1,800-square-foot crisis stabilization unit expansion and a 9,500-square-foot renovation of an existing unit for Centerstone, a nonprofit that offers mental health and addictions care. Construction on the $3.4 million project began in October 2016. The nonprofit’s staff, construction management team and Tampa architect Shumake Architecture, PA worked together to complete the project while maintaining operations at the campus, located at 2020 26th Ave. E., Bradenton.
