North Port author Rena Koontz recently won a silver medal in the Florida Authors & Publishers Association's President’s Book Awards for her novel Broken Justice, Blind Love. The novel was recognized in the adult e-book category. It tells the story of a policewoman tracking a serial killer and uncovering clues that point to the man she loves. The book was published by Soul Mate Publishing. The Florida Authors & Publishers Association is an organization for authors, publishers, illustrators, editors, printers and other professionals.
