Sarasota Magazine Wins 18 Awards at Florida Magazine Association

Honors include first-place Charlie, silver and bronze awards for writing, design and advertising excellence.

Sarasota Magazine is just back from the Florida Magazine Association awards event in Orlando, scooping up 18 awards in all for the past season. Included: gold “Charlie” awards for Best Public Service Coverage for “Going Nowhere,” our January story on the homeless; Best Service Feature for “The Collector’s Art” in our Platinum issue; and Best Editorial/Commentary/Opinion for October’s “Architecture for the New Atlantis.” Plus, our Mr. Chatterbox, Bob Plunket, scored a Charlie, a silver and a bronze for three of his humor columns. We won more writing and design awards, too; here's the complete list.
