The campsite is open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Reserve an RV or tent site online, where you can check real-time availability. Check-in time is 1 p.m., and check-out time is 11 a.m. Rates are available online.

What to Bring

If you have an RV or camper, all sites are equipped with a full hookup, electricity and and free Wi-Fi. Bring gear to walk the trails, enjoy the beach or cook out on a grill. Folding chairs and tables are a great option for eating outdoors. Bring binoculars and a camera if you want to spot some birds, or even sea turtles. And since the campground is right on the beach, you'll want towels, umbrellas, a cooler and sunscreen.

What to Expect

When you arrive at the campground, you'll see tree-lined campsites with picnic tables in each space. Once you have set up camp, head down to the beach or go kayaking from the launch at the lagoon. Launch your boat from the same spot.

Spend some time fishing on the peaceful shore, or take the kids for a day at the playground and horseshoe pits. Bring supplies to barbecue at the picnic area with grills. And if you're wishing to go into town, take the free, open-air trolley that visits Siesta Village. Stop by a restaurant to eat or go sight-seeing.
