Grammy Award-winning superstar violinist Joshua Bell joins the renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields on Sunday, March 15 at Van Wezel, performing Saint-Saëns’ fiery Violin Concerto No. 3, and he also leads the orchestra in Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.  With a career spanning almost four decades, Joshua Bell is one of the most celebrated artists in the world today, having performed with virtually every major orchestra. The London-based St Martin in the Fields named Joshua Bell as its Music Director in 2011 and they have enjoyed a strong musical partnership ever since.  As described by New York Classical Review, “Joshua Bell was excellent from the first notes, his exquisite tone pushing out enormous energy, expression, and forward drive.”
