The Sarasota Concert Association celebrates its 81st season of bringing world-renowned orchestras, chamber ensembles and acclaimed soloists to Sarasota. From internationally-celebrated orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, to the extraordinary virtuosity of violinist Joshua Bell as well as pianist Alexander Malofeev, and the Sarasota debut of the Danish String Quartet, this will be an exceptional season of memorable performances!
2026 GREAT PERFORMERS SERIES

Direct from London, the world-renowned Royal Philharmonic kicks off its U.S. tour and the Sarasota Concert Association’s Great Performers Series on Monday, January 19 at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall with Music Director Vasily Petrenko leading the orchestra in Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2. Award-winning pianist Boris Giltburg joins the orchestra in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1.

The Philadelphia Orchestra makes its long-awaited return to Sarasota on Monday, February 16 at Van Wezel, led by its charismatic Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. A Brahms specialist, Nézet-Séguin will conduct two of the composer’s beloved symphonies, the 3rd and 4th. A powerful musical experience not to be missed!

Based in Copenhagen, the Danish String Quartet makes its Sarasota debut on Tuesday, February 24 at Riverview Performing Arts Center, performing a varied program including Beethoven’s monumental String Quartet in B-flat Major and their own unique arrangements of Nordic folk music.

Twenty three-year old pianist Alexander Malofeev has already been performing in sold-out houses around the globe! He makes his Sarasota Concert Association debut on Tuesday, March 10 at Riverview Performing Arts Center in a program of virtuosic piano works, from Grieg to Prokofiev, Scriabin and Stravinsky.

Grammy Award-winning superstar violinist Joshua Bell joins the renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields on Sundy, March 15 at Van Wezel, performing Saint-Saëns’ fiery Violin Concerto No. 3, and he also leads the orchestra in Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.
