Known for his artistry and advanced surgical techniques, Dr. Kreithen has over 20 years of plastic surgery experience and has performed over 10,000 surgical procedures. Dr. Kreithen completed his plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville after finishing a five-year general surgery and trauma residency at East Tennessee State University.

Dr. Kreithen specializes in aesthetic breast and body procedures, and his focus includes mommy makeovers and body contouring after weight loss, as well as 
breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), lower body lift, arm and thigh lift, Smartlipo™, assisted liposuction and minimally-invasive skin tightening. He is also a master injector and performs non-invasive cosmetic procedures including Botox®, Juvederm®, Sculptra and Kybella.

Dr. Kreithen has hospital affiliations at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, where he was the Chairman of Surgery. In 2013, Dr. Kreithen was the Chairman of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, which is held annually to support breast cancer survivors and help fundraise to fight breast cancer.

As a result of Dr. Kreithen’s experience in advanced plastic surgery techniques, he was chosen to be a consultant to surgical innovations giant Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company. Additionally, Dr. Kreithen has written multiple scientific publications in the field of plastic surgery.
