Entering his 30th year as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Mobley describes the advances in his specialty as more exciting than ever. “We’re seeing a renaissance in breast augmentation,” he says. “Although it is one of the procedures I perform most frequently, we now offer 3D Vectra imaging that lets us show a patient exactly what the result will look like on her own torso, using the exact implant she chooses.” In addition, he now uses only the newest “gummy bear” cohesive gel implants, which offer better results and enhanced safety.

Dr. Mobley is experienced in the full range of procedures with a goal of providing exceptional, natural-looking results, including traditional facelifts, mini-facelifts, rapidly-healing fractional CO2 laser, fat grafting, tummy tucks, breast lifts, dermal fillers and Botox cosmetic.

For facial rejuvenation, he notes that fat grafting techniques have reached a new state of the art. “Through better harvesting and preparation techniques, as much as 70 percent of the fat grafting can be maintained permanently,” he says. “That’s a big plus because replacing missing facial volume makes a good facelift into a great facelift.”

Board certification absolutely matters, and Dr. Mobley’s dedication to his continued maintenance of a triple board certification reflects extensive education and training as well as a commitment to top surgical safety practices. For safety and the best results, Dr. Mobley urges patients to select a plastic surgeon who is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. “Verify credentials because, unfortunately, many doctors who offer plastic surgery techniques do not have board certification in the specialty.”
