Trailblazer, Ya La’Ford is a first-generation American who uses art as a global language to navigate between vulnerable populations and her Jamaican heritage. Ya La'ford's primary goal is to revolutionize and profoundly alter the social, cultural, and historical settings of creative expression through her art. Her art captures the human experience through vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and different mediums.

Ya La’Ford – Opposites Attract – Mixed Media on Canvas

Typically, Ya’s pieces can only be seen in public installations or in museums, but now that’s all about to change. For her first series exclusively available at Drew Marc Gallery, Ya delves into an “old meets new” visual curation. This special collection explores decorative ornate framing mixed with the geometric style she grew to fame for.
