Saving Lives Until Every Cage Is Empty
Since 2008, Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue has been dedicated to helping abandoned and mistreated dogs and cats find loving homes.
Each year, with the help of countless volunteers and an incredibly supportive community, we save thousands of at-risk animals at our eight-acre, no-kill ranch on Lorraine Road in Lakewood Ranch. Through our Journey Home campaign, we are expanding our campus and increasing our services to save even more homeless animals every year.
- 20,000 pets placed into loving homes
- 455,760 hours donated by pet fosters in the last year
- Thousands of pets are fed through Nate’s Community Food Bank Program, a free community pet food program to help keep animals in their homes when their owners are experiencing financial hardships
- Special programs include taking pets to local memory care and adult-assisted care facilities
- 10,124 volunteer hours recorded last year, valued at over $283,472
- 7.5 million toward a $12 million campaign goal raised to fund a new welcome and education center, double dog capacity, add a new kitty city, and other major site improvements
