Saving Feline Lives Everyday

“We are so lucky that Cat Depot rescued our adopted kitties so that they, in turn, could rescue us.” - Kathy Holtquist, Cat Depot Adopter of Gracie & Oliver

Cat Depot, a free-roaming adoption center, and rescue, is recognized for its progressive design and commitment to helping homeless, abandoned, and injured animals. Cat Depot’s mission is to save lives, find loving homes, and provide the resources and education needed to improve the destiny of homeless cats. Cat Depot was founded in 2003 when we rescued 262 cats from an overcrowded local shelter. Twenty years and nearly 20,000 adopted cats later, we have grown to be the area’s premier feline-only rescue, adoption, and education center. Over 1,100 rescued cats and kittens are admitted to the shelter each year, each receiving state-of-the-art care until their forever homes are found. Our commitment to assisting cats in need does not stop with finding them homes. Cat Depot’s Community Food Bank feeds over 10,000 personally-owned and community cats each year ensuring they have access to lifesaving food and supplies, as well as access to no-cost spay and neuter services. Our on-site Cat Care Clinic offers wellness and specialty services at affordable rates offering pet parents peace of mind that their feline family members receive the veterinary care they require. Cat Depot’s education programs touch thousands of community members annually. From summer camp to coffee talks, and family-orientated events to lectures, we provide programming, resources, and opportunities for all ages.
