Presented by All Faiths Food Bank June 23, 2023

All Faiths Food Bank provides millions of meals each year in collaboration with hundreds of programs and partner agencies throughout the community.

The organization works not only to end hunger today but also strives to end hunger – forever – by helping families and individuals gain long-term food security, enjoy better health outcomes, and achieve self-sufficiency.

Key program areas include: food distribution, childhood hunger, hunger and health, benefits assistance, and rural hunger. All Faiths Food Bank has become known for its innovation, ability to mobilize the community and distribute millions of meals to those who are hungry, and has been recognized nationwide as a food bank whose methodology is on the cutting edge, using data to drive its work to ensure resources are allocated with maximum efficiency and innovation.

All Faiths is dedicated to raising awareness of the issue of hunger to engage new “hunger heroes” and influence policy-making regarding poverty. The organization’s new strategic plan emphasizes the investment in deep partnerships to create a region-wide movement that recognizes the role everyone – policy-makers, social service networks, funders, and donors – can play to end hunger.

Of All Faiths’ 71 staff members, 38 are women. Tenacity, intelligence, empathy, a commitment to collaboration, flexibility in the face of crisis, and the capacity for evaluation are qualities that can be found in the women working to end the crisis
of hunger in our community.
