Devaney Iglesias is the West Central Area Manager for Sarasota, Manatee, Desoto, Hardee and Highlands counties for Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). FPL is the largest electric utility in the U.S. as measured by retail electricity produced and sold, with more than 5.8 million customer accounts serving 12 million people across Florida with clean, reliable and affordable electricity.

In her role, Devaney works with local government and community leadership on developmental projects that deliver clean energy and strengthen the electric grid, coordinates programs that help customers and serves as the liaison on storm and emergency operation response. As the daughter of two Cuban immigrants, she offers a unique perspective and skillset, bringing forward diversity in personal background, thought, style, technical and functional capabilities, as well as leadership, like many other members of the FPL team. It’s because of our diverse team members, FPL continues to deliver America’s best energy value to our customers.
