Richichi swiftly achieved national renown as a portrait painter early in her career, but in 2001 she sensed a calling to the outdoors. As she discovered that mother nature possessed the healing power needed to recuperate from a profound personal loss, she turned to plein air painting. This led her to the realization that art can aid in our healing.
