Strong foundations can last generations, but they need support. The Florida Center is laying the groundwork for resilient communities by nurturing the healthy development of young children, specializing in those with delays, disabilities, and mental health challenges.  

At-risk children and families benefit from the agency’s nationally recognized early education program and developmental therapies including mental health, occupational, and speech/language. We also provide school-based mental health therapy at elementary schools; a home-visiting program for new and expecting parents; Early Childhood Court; and the state's only Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Clinic.
