Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation provides the margin of excellence that makes an outstanding health system even more exceptional. Over the years, donor support has helped fund a multitude of important initiatives at SMH, including patient care needs for Cardiac Services and the Comprehensive Stroke Center, advanced medical equipment and staff education. Grants have also have supported the SMH Physician Residency programs and critical resources for SMH-Venice, as well as the Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute. 

The Healthcare Foundation’s $75 million Leading with Care campaign is generating support for the new Cancer Pavilion which is currently in the planning stages as part of the expanding Jellison Cancer Institute. When complete in 2025, the outpatient Cancer Pavilion will be located across the street from the new oncology tower and house breast health services, outpatient surgery suites, radiation oncology, infusion services, diagnostic imaging, integrative and supportive care and medical, surgical and radiation oncology physician clinics.
