About Us

  • In January 2023 we will present the 42nd installment of the TOWN HALL lecture bringing influencers from the world stage to our stage in Sarasota!
  • Through kinetic discourse, we believe our work should inspire thought, and spark discussion.
  • We are committed to ensuring diverse points of view are represented, respected, and dedicated to equitable access and inclusion.
  • All proceeds from the TOWN HALL series support the Ringling College of Art + Design. Through TOWN HALL, RLCA has committed to more than $11 million dollars in support of educational resources and student scholarships.

Town Hall Lecture Series

For more than 40 years, some of the most influential names in the world have taken the TOWN HALL stage, creating lifetime memories for our community: past U.S. presidents, heads of state, global security, sciences, arts, business and more.

In an area known for its arts and culture, TOWN HALL is known for producing presentations that are innovative, compelling and often “one and only” events that can’t be seen anywhere else. This rich history means our patrons have incredibly high expectations for each new season, and we do our best to bring in speakers who bring unique experiences and insights.

Many times, our speakers are controversial, but we strive to bring speakers whose subject will cause you to think and get excited about hearing their perspective, even if you disagree. TOWN HALL strives to helps us embrace our experience in hearing what others think, whether we agree or not. We are honored to be in a community where can we come together at events like this and experience countless new perspectives.
