 The State College of Florida Foundation, founded in 1978, is focused on supporting and creating higher education opportunities for the region’s youth. Over the past year, thanks to our generous donors, the Foundation delivered more than $1.8 million in scholarships and saw key capital projects come to fruition, including the opening of the new Studio for the Performing Arts at SCF Bradenton.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for even considering me for your scholarship, let alone selecting me. I am truly honored that you have decided to invest in me and my future. This scholarship will help me to continue with my education with my goal of being completely debt free. This scholarship also helps me realize the importance of excelling in school and trying your hardest at everything you do. I’m currently working to achieve my Associates degree so I can become a Radiology technologist. With that being said, there will be more schooling in my future and coming from a lower income family presents its own challenges. Scholarships like this offer me not only faith, but the opportunity to achieve my goals. It is a great relief to know that I’ll be okay for my current semester of schooling. You guys are doing amazing things for students like me.
