Cat Depot is a limited-admission, free-roaming adoption, rescue, and education center which is recognized for its progressive design and commitment to helping homeless and injured felines in Sarasota and beyond. We have a dedicated shelter veterinary hospital, superior cat care team and expansive foster volunteer network to care for and rehabilitate kittens, seniors and critically ill cats.

This past year, with community support, Cat Depot’s Adoption Program found homes for 1,311 cats and kittens; Community Food Bank fed over 500 community cats and underserved personally owned pets; Cat Care Clinic treated 6,000-plus cats and kittens; and Emergency Response Team assisted with local and national rescue efforts.
