All Faiths Food Bank

“Providing healthy solutions to end hunger in our community.”

Presented by All Faiths Food Bank September 20, 2021

Although studies document the disparities women face in the workforce, you won’t see any glass ceilings at All Faiths Food Bank. From fundraising, human relations, transportation and communications to site management, data analysis and the C-suite, there are no limits to what women are empowered to achieve at the Food Bank.

Of All Faiths’ 51 staff members, 29 are women. Tenacity, intelligence, a commitment to collaboration, flexibility in the face of ongoing crises—including the pandemic—and the capacity for evaluation are qualities that can be found in the women working to end the crisis of hunger in our community.

CEO Sandra Frank embodies the can-do spirit prevalent at All Faiths. Her strategic, thoughtful and hands-on leadership has galvanized the respected nonprofit since beginning her tenure in 2012.

The organization has broken down silos internally and fostered diverse community partnerships—a testament to the commitment to collaboration that pervades every aspect of All Faiths’ operations. Cross-sector coordination enables the organization to reach further into the community to find and assist those whose lives are bettered with supplemental nutrition.

When COVID-19 stopped many businesses and nonprofits in their tracks, All Faiths kicked its operations into even higher gear. The women of All Faiths Food Bank were among the essential workers who not only had to work harder and smarter to meet vastly increased need, but they also logged countless additional hours filling roles from which volunteers were temporarily furloughed.

They lead. They advocate. They collect and analyze data. They inspire philanthropy. They drive trucks. They are the women of All Faiths Food Bank— and they are united to end hunger in our community. Forever.
