Jo Rutstein is a woman of many passions. First and foremost is her family and following closely behind is her successful real estate career and her generosity towards her community. Jo is very active within the performing arts community, especially the symphony and ballet. She has served on committees and co-chaired events for Sarasota Rotary Foundation, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, American Jewish Committee and Neuro Challenge, and is a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood and Embracing our Differences. Children First, however, is her pride and joy. She began working with them in 2004 and has held many positions, including president and chairwoman of the board. In 2017 she was honored when a new section of playground was officially named “Jo’s Place” in recognition of her hard work and dedication to the organization.
