Mission: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

At Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Inc., we help girls prepare for a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure in a safe, no-limits place designed for and by girls. It’s all part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience – a collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities like earning badges, going on exciting trips, selling cookies, exploring science, getting outdoors, and doing community service projects. We are the area’s premier leadership experience for girls.

The council has a membership of nearly 6,000 girls in grades K-12, and more than 2,500 adult members. Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. is chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA and serves girls in 10 counties including: Sarasota, Manatee, Hardee, Highlands, DeSoto, Charlotte, Glades, Lee, Hendry, and Collier. To make Girl Scouting accessible to all girls, we provide program scholarships based on financial need.
