At the Y, strengthening communities is our cause. Since 1945, the Sarasota YMCA has combined tradition with innovation to meet the needs of our community. From early learning to chronic disease prevention, youth sports and swim lessons to after school care, mentoring and counseling to summer camp and a youth shelter to foster care and adoptions, our Y continues to effect lasting change in Sarasota and beyond. As a nonprofit organization, we never turn anyone away due to their inability to pay.
