As the Sarasota Orchestra season ends, it can only mean one thing, Outdoor Pops! The bleachers will be filled with fans eager to experience Principal Pops Conductor Andrew Lane and the musicians of the Sarasota Orchestra playing a wide range of popular music and family favorites. Here’s a list of thing you don’t want to miss:    

1. Your Favorite Tunes
Under the baton of Principal Pops Conductor Andrew Lane, Sarasota Orchestra will play a wide range of popular music including songs from La La Land, Grease, Les Misérables, scores from Disney films and other fan favorites.

2. Musical theater stars Deedee and Cliffton Hall
Married couple and musical theater stars Deedee and Cliffton Hall are currently appearing in the rock musical Next to Normal. Deedee appears as Jasmine on Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular soundtrack and is currently the voice of Pearl in the animated series Steven Universe. The couple performed together in the touring production of Miss Saigon. Deedee later played the role of Nessarose on the national tour of Wicked.

3. Hotdogs and Popcorn
What’s better than that? Concessions are available at the Ed Smith Stadium for your enjoyment during the concert. Get yourself a hot dog, some popcorn, and sit back to enjoy the Orchestra in the outfield.

4. Fireworks!
Each performance of the Field of Dreams program will end with a spectacular fireworks display!
