Bilingual poll workers are needed at the polls to ensure that Spanish-speaking voters are able to exercise their rights to vote without any language barriers.
The proposal would allow voters to only vote in the County Commission election in their district, rather than having county commissioners elected in a county-wide vote.
Wesley Ann Beggs, Mike Consentino, Al Maio and Lourdes Ramirez have been invited to participate in the Sarasota County Council of Neighborhood Associations event.
