The Bay, Gulf Coast Community Foundation Launch $2 Million Matching Challenge

The Bay and Gulf Coast Community Foundation have partnered to complete the development of the 53-acre downtown park via a new $2 million challenge match.

A $70,000 grant from the Ralph S. French Charitable Foundation to Goodwill Manasota will support the nonprofit's GoodPartner Coach program. 

Sarasota-based SediVision recently awarded $8,000 in scholarships through the Women of Water Scholarship Foundation, a program the company helped establish with the Florida Rural Water Association to support women pursuing careers in Florida's water and wastewater industry.

 The Athena Giving Circle of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County has awarded a $20,000 grant to All Faiths Food Bank, enabling the organization to provide essential feminine hygiene products to approximately 570 residents per month over the next year at Margie’s Market in Newtown.

CareerEdge Funders Collaborative, the workforce initiative of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, has announced the grantees for its 2026 Upskilling Worker Grant Program: Aladdin Equipment, Inc.B&I ContractorsConditioned AirHoneywell LNGLT PlumbingMCR HealthNCN ElectricSarasota Memorial Healthcare System and Tidewell Foundation.
