CareerEdge Funders Collaborative, the workforce initiative of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, recently announced that its 2025 efforts resulted in an economic impact of $3.85 million for the local economy. 

The 28th annual Thunder by the Bay Music & Motors Festival raised $310,000 to support local children, teens and adults with special needs, those at risk and their families at its annual event earlier this year.

Boar's Head recently raised $90,000 for All Faiths Food Bank to allow the organization can purchase a new, fully-funded refrigerated cargo van.

Satchel’s Last Resort Animal Shelter and Sanctuary raised more than $47,000 during its sixth annual "Get Your Mutt Movin’' 5K run and walk to support rescue dogs and cats. 

The Academy at Glengary received a $13,450 Capacity Building grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County for the development of the academy's "Launchpad to Success" initiative for young adults who have recently been diagnosed with mental illness.

The Food Bank of Manatee/Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee recently received a $10,000 charitable gift from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation. 

The Bishop-Parker Foundation recently awarded a $7,668 grant to Big Waters Land Trust. Big Waters Land Trust also recently received a $5,000 grant from the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation. 

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) recently received a $4,000 grant from theatre works! 

Forty Carrots Family Center recently received a charitable gift of $5,000 from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation.
