Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation recently received a $1 million gift from Susan and Zuheir Sofia to create an endowed fund supporting physical rehabilitation services at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System.

Embracing Our Differences raised more than $430,000 at its annual luncheon to support the organization’s year-round education and outreach programs. 

Sarasota Opera recently received a $25,000 grant from 1st Source Foundation and a $24,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Academy at Glengary, Inc. has recceived a $5,000 grant from Gulf Coast Community Foundation to expand the nutrition program at its Sarasota campus.
