Ringling College Announces New VP of Enrollment Management and Marketing

Ringling College of Art and Design has named John A. Chopka its vice president for enrollment management and marketing.
Ben Quartermaine has been selected as Sarasota County’s director of the newly structured Stormwater Department.

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens has announced Amelia Swiecki of Sarasota as the award recipient of the 2025 Virginia B. Toulmin Leadership Scholarship. Swiecki is a rising junior at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, pursing a bachelor of science degree in environmental studies with minors in biology, film and Spanish. She will receive a $15,000 scholarship.
