Art Center Sarasota Hires Two; Appoints New Board Members

Art Center Sarasota has appointed two new board members—Michael Kinsey and Cathy Wilson—and two staff members: Laurie Miller, director of education and community engagement, and Rachel Denton, administrative coordinator.
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota has appointed Jennifer Price as its new vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
Michael J. Wilson, president of Williams Parker, has been appointed the 2025-2026 chair-elect of the Tax Section of The Florida Bar.

The board of trustees of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens has elected Katherine Martucci as chair and Jeannie Russell as vice chair for its 2026 fiscal year. The board also elected Sherry Koski, Kevin O’Donohue and Nikki Sedacca to three-year terms as trustees.
Sarasota County Schools has selected Dr. Lashawn Frost, the current principal of Booker Middle School, has been selected as the new executive director of student services.
The Community Foundation of Sarasota County recently elected officers for its 2025-2026 fiscal year and appointed three new members. Paul Hudson will serve as board chair while Circuit Court Judge Charles Williams will take on the role of vice chair. Mercedes Soler will serve as secretary and Laura Mattia will serve as treasurer.
