Sarasota County Receives Funding to Remove Invasive Plants at Local Beaches

Sarasota County recently received a $75,000 grant from the U.S. Forest Service, allowing for the removal of invasive plants at Ted Sperling Park at South Lido Beach and North Jetty Park. The invasives will be replaced with native plants.
