Election 2024

A Guide to Election Results in Sarasota and Manatee Counties

Both counties saw voter turnout higher than 80 percent.

By Staff November 6, 2024

In the wee hours of the morning, former President Donald Trump was named the winner of the 2024 presidential contest while earning  the support of 58.5 percent of the voters in Sarasota County and 61.2 percent in Manatee County.
