Nelle S. Miller has been named president and chief executive officer of All Faiths Food Bank. She will succeed longtime CEO Sandra Frank, who announced her intention to retire in March.

Sarasota County Schools has announced that Venice Elementary School’s Dr. Kirk Hutchinson has been selected as the district’s 2024 Principal of the Year, and Sarasota High School’s Lindsay Gallof has been selected as the district’s 2024 Assistant Principal of the Year.

Sarasota Memorial Hospital honored two physicians for outstanding service this week and announced its 2023-2024 chiefs of staff for the SMH-Sarasota and SMH-Venice campuses. Dr. Rickey Wiseman received the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award and Dr. Matthew Waldron was awarded the 2023 Physician of the Year Award. Dr. Sarah Temple was named chief of staff of SMH-Sarasota campus and Dr. Scott Perrin was named chief of staff for SMH-Venice.

The Federal Aviation Administration’s Southern Region Airports Division has named Fredrick J. Piccolo, president and CEO of the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority, the 2022 Air Carrier Airport Manager of the Year.
