Williams Parker has announced the opening of a second office location at Waterside Place in Lakewood Ranch. The new Lakewood Ranch office address is 7500 Island Cove Terrace, Suite 200, Lakewood Ranch.

Vision of Dance will host two open house events on August 12 and August 18, from 7-8:30 p.m. on both dates. The studio is located at 312 N. Osprey Ave. in downtown Sarasota. Led by dance instructor Michael Pecina and  ballroom dancer Cindy Wilson, the studio provides an environment for dance enthusiasts to explore the art of dance.

ArchWell Health, a national company providing care services to individuals on Medicare Advantage plans, has opened its first of 10 locations along the Central Gulf Coast beginning with a center in Venice at 543 S. Tamiami Trail. 

Bliss Dermatology, a new dermatology practice, has opened two locations in Venice (315 Nokomis Avenue S.) and Englewood (699 S. Indiana Ave.). Bliss Dermatology is owned by Dr. Michelle Pennie, the founder of Paradise Dermatology.

The Central West Coast chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association has announced its "Mission Mavericks" program, which will help worthy nonprofits—or eligible for-profit companies, considered on a case-by-case basis—with pro bono communications counsel/support in an area of acute need. The chapter will start with one project and, should the level of interest from area organizations and the capacity of members to assist be at a sufficient level, will consider expanding the scope to include a spring cycle/increase the number of pro bono project offerings.

Dr. Miguel G. Rivera will offer clinics every other Monday at Town Square Sarasota, the 1950s-themed adult day center. Rivera will also provide expert advice to Town Square Sarasota’s staff about how to continue best serving its members and their family caregivers.
