Ride Cycling Studio Opens in The Mark

Plus, BayFirst Bank buys its Newtown building and Erika Alarcón opens Bridal by Barbie's Boutique.

Ariana Olivio has opened Ride, a new indoor cycling studio, in The Mark on Pineapple Avenue in downtown Sarasota. Ride will offer more than 35 classes each week in a group setting. Olivo previously taught cycling classes and managed Cyc Fitness Astor Place in New York City before moving to Singapore to grow the AbsoluteCycle brand and ultimately returning to Sarasota to create Ride.

BayFirst Bank has become a permanent fixture in the Newtown community. The St. Petersburg-based community bank recently purchased the building it has rented at 1782 Dr. Luther King Way since January 2022, with plans to convert the loan production office and financial resource center into a full-service banking center by end of year.

Kaitlyn Innes has opened a new Massage Heights location at 4948 S. Tamiami Trail. Innes is a certified massage therapist with more than 20 years of experience.

Bridal by Barbie's Boutique has opened at 1225 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. The store—which is owned by Barbie's Boutique owner Erika Alarcón, offers a range of wedding dress styles, from modern to traditional.
