This month, the Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) is hosting “Media-Con” on May 17, 2022, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties and feature media representatives from a variety of local and regional news outlets, including Sarasota Magazine editor-in-chief Cooper Levey-Baker.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with media representatives through interactive panel discussions, pitch moments, and booth visits over the course of the program. Other featured speakers include Lauren Walck, Bradenton Herald; Mark Gordon, Business Observer; Brian Ries, Sarasota Herald-Tribune; Mercedes Soler, Solmart Media; Michael Miner and Jake Harvtigsen, WEDU PBS; and more.
