Achieva Credit Union has named Susan Lacey as regional market president. Lacey will be responsible for an area from Bradenton to Fort Myers and Estero. The promotion comes as Achieva puts an even stronger focus on Southwest Florida and continues to expand its branch network.

In her new role, Lacey will expand her focus more to strategy and growth initiatives with particular goals on increasing visibility of Achieva’s “Banking for Good” benefits, and on refining how branches of the future will play a role in their local communities. Achieva has been steadily growing its Southwest Florida presence since establishing operations south of the Sunshine Skyway with its merger with Sarasota Coastal Credit Union in 2010. Since then, the credit union has steadily grown southward, and the region south of the Skyway now accounts for 35 percent of Achieva’s membership, with 11 branches in Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee Counties.
