Blake Medical Center has named Dr. R. Lee Biggs its new chief medical officer (CMO). Biggs joined the hospital Monday, December 6. Before joining Blake, he served as the CMO of Trident Health in Charleston, South Carolina, in HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic Division. Prior to that, he was CMO for HCA Healthcare’s Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Indiana. A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Biggs is a Navy veteran and practiced obstetrics and gynecology before joining HCA Healthcare.
