Sample Ballots for Nov. 2 Municipal Elections Now Available Online

City of Venice voters will elect council members for seats 3 and 4; Town of Longboat Key voters will be voting whether to approve or reject a density referendum.

Sample ballots for the Nov. 2, 2021 City of Venice General Election and Town of Longboat Key Referendum are now available online at SarasotaVotes.gov, Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner announced.

To access a personalized sample ballot, voters may click on the “Sample Ballot” quick link in the blue banner on the home page, then enter the requested information in the form provided and follow the easy instructions.

Voters who reside in the City of Venice will be electing council members for seats 3 and 4. Precincts within the city limits include 301, 305, 435, 511, 513, 515, 517, 519 and 521. Town of Longboat Key voters (Precinct 201) will be voting on whether to approve or reject a density referendum. Voters can find their precinct numbers listed on their voter information cards or call the elections office at (941) 861-8619 for assistance.
