The City of Sarasota has announced that the inside travel lanes at U.S. 41 and Gulfstream Avenue will be temporarily closed on July 29 starting at 8 p.m. as FDOT Southwest Florida crews remove the existing curb, median and HAWK pedestrian crossing at First Street in preparation for roundabout construction. Work is expected to start at 8 p.m. and continue overnight until 6 a.m. on July 30.
