Bradenton PC Repair and Last 7 Studios have partnered with Veterans of America Hospital at Bay Pines, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital and Goodwill Manasota to provide laptop and desktop computers to veterans. The goal is to help veterans in need keep in touch with family and friends and to find employment. This is the organizations' eighth annual donation drive; they have donated 244 computers to veterans since the program began.

On Nov. 11 and Nov. 12, those interested in participating in the drive can bring old devices to Bradenton PC Repair at 6703 14th St. W. in Bradenton. Devices will be cleared of all data to ensure safety and privacy for the previous owner, then given directly to veterans in need. Donated items do not need to be in working condition to be of use; most can be fixed and still donated. Bradenton PC Repair is also offering donors a coupon for one free diagnostic service and one free PC repair, excluding parts; if you can't donate this week, the companies will accept devices throughout the rest of the year, too.
