Jewish Federation Adds to Development Team

The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee has welcomed Barbara Mazer to its development team as chief development strategist. Mazer has more than 20 years of experience working in the non-profit sector.  Most recently, she served as the chief development officer of The Florida Orchestra and executive director of The Studio@620.  Prior, she was a consultant for The Tessitura Network, a global community of arts and cultural organizations, where she worked with development departments across North America to analyze donor data and communicate effectively with philanthropic supporters.  Her arts experience also included stints as director of development for American Stage in St. Petersburg and Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. Mazer began her career in Jewish communal service at the Leo Yassenoff JCC and Jewish Federation in Columbus, OH. She has a B.A. and M.A. in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and lives in St. Petersburg with her children.
