Impact100 SRQ Awards $342,000 to Three Area Nonprofits

SKY Family YMCA, Children's Cancer Center and Mayor's Feed the Hungry Program each received a $114,000 grant.

Impact100 SRQ has awarded $342,000 in transformational, high impact grants today to three local nonprofits committed to improving the community. Each of the three nonprofits will receive a $114,000 grant to support the following “community-changing” programs:

  • Education: SKY Family YMCA. Project: Nurturing the Potential of Every Child.
  • Family: Children’s Cancer Center. Project: Sarasota/Manatee Program expansion for Children Battling Cancer.
  • Health and Wellness: Mayor’s Feed the Hungry Program. Project: Fresh Food for ALL.

The voting for the award recipients took place last week and were announced on Sunday via broadcast video.
