The Red Fox Institute, formerly Bear Creek Veterinary Alternatives, reopened on Nov. 2 to provide high-quality, alternative medical care to pets in Sarasota. The practice, which was was founded 10 years ago by Dr. Jaime Gonzalez and his wife, Susan Blake Gonzalez, offers traditional vet services as well as holistic practices like herbal remedies and acupuncture. The practice also now offers telemedicine consultations and in-house veterinary visits, as well as educational opportunities for recent vet school graduates and vets wishing to incorporate holistic practices.
