First Step of Sarasota, which recently merged with Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, announced three new board members and its current slate of officers. The new board members are Kathleen (Katy) Barclay, former senior vice-president of Kroger Co.; David F. Lyons, former CEO of Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines; and John Leslie, a recognized thought leader in healthcare information technology. New board officers include Patrick Robinson, chair and deputy chief, Ron Turner, secretary, and Jay Miller, treasurer. With its merger with Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, First Step of Sarasota is now the largest nonprofit behavioral healthcare agency in Sarasota County.
