Impact100 SRQ Announces Five Grant Finalists

The organization will award three of the finalists a $114,000 grant next month.

Impact100 SRQ, a group of local women who have committed to high-impact strategic grant-making, announced the five finalists that will compete for three $114,000 grants at the 2020 Impact100 SRQ “virtual” annual meeting and awards celebration on Nov. 1. The 2020 finalists are Westcoast Black Theatre Troup for its Stage of Discovery: New Growth project; SKY Family YMCA for its "Nuturing the Potential of Every Child" project; Florida Institute for Saltwater Heritage "FISH Preserve Bridge and Trail Initiative" project; Children's Cancer Center for its local program expansion for children battling cancer; and the Mayors Feed the Hungry program for its "Fresh Food for All" project.

Prior to the 2020 Annual Meeting and Grant Award Ceremony on Nov. 1, members will have the opportunity to view the five-minute presentations of the five finalists and cast their electronic ballot. Then, on Nov. 1, the presentations will be broadcast live and the three $114,000 grant recipients will be announced.
