Durisan Names New Science, Marketing Leadership

The company has hired a chief scientific officer, vice-president of sales and marketing and a staff accountant.

Durisan, the Sarasota-based manufacturer of sanitizing products for commercial and residential use, has named Joseph Antoun, Ph.D., as its chief scientific officer. In this role, Antoun will help Durisan continue to develop safe, innovative products. Durisan’s CEO Troy Daland, a retired U.S. military veteran, also announced the addition of Michelle Noël as the vice-president of sales and marketing. Noël brings 30 years of experience to the Sarasota-based manufacturer.

Daland additionally announced the hiring of Mónica Torres as staff accountant. Torres is a retired veteran with six years' experience as a medical supply Specialist. She holds a B.S. in business administration with a double major in accounting and marketing from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. Her role at Durisan will encompass accounting and financial review.
